New Post not being Publish

I am making this post and publish it to see if it will be published. I checked my site http://devilleresfamily. blogspot.com/atom.xml atom file. I can see that the post I publish on September 14 is there, but it is not updated on the publish page. The latest shown on the page is dated September 10 2006. We'll see what happened.

Lesson learned - backup current pages always

Ok, everything is ok now, although I lost some of my current changes on the web page. I have save the page the other day. I have not saved my current changes. So lesson learned is always save your page after making an update on the page.

All I have to do now is return manually my current changes on the page.

I normally save my pages on a directory called local_site on d:\ for backup purposes. If you have multiple pages, it would be best to save all pages manually just in case.

I am back in action now and I didn't bother the already loaded Blogger Support Team.

Update! Continuing my diagnostics...

I tried to publish a post, Republish Index Only and Republish Entire Blog. All of them just gave me a blank page with the rocks.jpg page.

I believe my main html code has been corrupted for some reason. The next logical step would be to return my main page.

I' ll be back once I have completed the next step.

Oh no! My main page disappeared!!!

Oh no! My main page disappeared!!!

This morning, when I tried to access my main page http://devilleresfamily.blogspot.com, the browser screen is just showing rocks.jpg

This rocks.jpg is only a part of the template. I have to investigate first before getting the help of the Blogger support team. I login to the site. I checked my template html code. I notice that half of the codes disappeared.

I am now continuing on investigating the disappearance of my main html page.

I did try to access my atom.xml page file http://devilleresfamily.blogspot.com/atom/xml. The atom page is working ok. All of my post are there. Oh a sign of relief because I don't have to type again or restore.

Anyway, I am not a bit worried because I have a dump of my web site for backup purposes.

I'll be back after my investigation. I will try my skill in diagnosing this issue.

Introduction

This family blog is a life journal of Felipe Dumanat de Villeres. It is a self published diary spanning of 58 life years and the present life events to come.

For the young, he will reveal how he struggled on his psychological and physical growing up. How life was so hard growing up with out a guide.

For the poorest of the poor, he will demonstrate that poverty is not a hindrance to succeed. As the saying goes if you have the will, you'll find the way.

For the rich and the famous, this is just a story of one poor man's struggle to fight poverty. Actually the rich and the famous is his model in this life struggle.

I have started this family blog in MEMORY of my beloved mother, my heroine SOFIA YTING DUMANAT VIUDA DE VILLERES. She passed away last November 14, 2005 at the age 89.
